1. Non-Refundable After Payment
All payments made to Tax Genius LLC are non-refundable once the payment is processed.
By submitting payment, you acknowledge that work may begin immediately, and that no refunds will be issued once a service has started, except in specific cases outlined below.
2. Refund Eligibility (Errors by Tax Genius LLC)
Refunds are only considered if an error or omission is made solely by Tax Genius LLC.
To qualify for a refund:
- The client must report the issue within 21 days from the date the service was rendered or filed.
- Supporting documentation may be required to verify the issue.
- If our review confirms that an error occurred on our part, a full or partial refund may be approved.
3. Strictly Non-Refundable Services
The following services are strictly non-refundable once booked and paid for:
- Consultation or advisory calls
- Rush or expedited filings
- Digital document processing and filings already submitted to tax authorities (IRS, CRA, state, or provincial agencies)
4. Partial Refunds and Adjustments
In certain circumstances, partial refunds may be provided at our discretion — for example, if a multi-stage project is canceled before completion.
Refund amounts will reflect the portion of work already performed and any non-recoverable costs.
5. How to Request a Refund

Refunds are typically completed within 21 business days after approval.

7. Client Data & Responsibility
Refunds will not be issued for delays, penalties, or issues caused by:
- Incomplete, inaccurate, or false information supplied by the client
- Failure to provide required documentation on time
- Misunderstanding of service scope or deadlines
8. Disputes and Chargebacks
We encourage clients to contact us first before initiating any chargeback.
Filing a chargeback without communication may result in account suspension or denial of future services.
We reserve the right to dispute fraudulent or invalid chargebacks and recover associated costs.
9. Final Authority
Tax Genius LLC reserves the right to refuse or limit refunds if:
- The service has been completed as agreed;
- The client supplied inaccurate or incomplete information;
- The request is made more than 21 days after service completion; or
- Refund abuse or misuse is detected.
All refund decisions made by Tax Genius LLC are final.
